Nicole earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Chicago State University and two master’s
degrees, one from Loyola University in Special Education and Educational Leadership from Olivet
Nazarene University. Nicole has 26 years of experience in education as a Special Education Teacher, Case
Manager, Assistant Principal, and an Administrative Dean of High School Students. Prior to joining K
Altman Law, she was a Special Education Case Manager for Chicago Public Schools. She continues to
support families as a Special Education Parent Advocate with the belief that students with disabilities
deserve the very best education, and parents have the right to be heard.
